The mission of Easter Seals Colorado is
to partner with people with disabilities and their families to
create solutions to help change and improve their lives so they
can live with equality, dignity and independence. The organization
is dedicated to providing high quality services for people with
disabilities regardless of race, creed, age or cause of disability.
Easter Seals Colorado provided services to nearly 4,000 people in 2001. Of every dollar raised, 79% of funds collected
are used for direct client services and education. Easter Seals
Colorado, an affiliate of Easter Seals National,was established in 1926.
Easter Seals Colorado headquarters are located at the Steve Vestal Center
in Lakewood, Colorado. The organization also
owns and operates Rocky Mountain
Village, its fully-equipped, year-round camp facility near
Empire, Colorado.
