Program Information
The Center for Adapted Technology at Easter Seals Colorado serves consumers of all disabilities and all ages. We have provided AT assessment and
consultation services for the past 14 years. Our services cover the Rocky Mountain Region, with a focus on the state of Colorado. We are based out of
the Denver Metro Area.
The services we provide may be administered in our outpatient facility or anywhere in the community (i.e., consumer’s workplace, school or residence) as appropriate.
Easter Seals Colorado has no particular eligibility requirements.
We have the following fee structure:
- $450.00 per evaluation
- $75.00 per hour
- Travel Rate: $32.50 per hour plus $0.32 per mile
The Center for Adapted Technology has access to all appropriate device types that would allow a comprehensive, non-biased assessment of an individual’s success
with specific assistive technologies (Augmentative Communication Devices, Alternate Keyboards & Pointing Devices, Alternate Access Software, Ergonomic Workstation Equipment, Etc.)
The Center for Adapted Technology receives referrals from schools, state vocational rehabilitation agencies, disability-specific service organizations, hospitals, physicians, community-based therapists & healthcare agencies, private insurance agencies, families and individuals.
The Center for Adapted Technology at Easter Seals Colorado provides comprehensive assistive technology evaluation and consultation services to help find solutions for people of all ages and all levels of disability within the Rocky Mountain region.
We have a complement of therapists, a Rehabilitation Engineering technologist and a mobile unit to take our multidisciplinary staff and evaluation tools on the road.
We are capable of delivering services within the following disciplines of assistive technology:
- AgrAbility (Rural Assistive Technology)
- Alternative or Augmentative Communication
- Computer Access
- Electronic Aides for Daily Living
- Ergonomics
- Home Modification
- Switch Access
- Worksite Accommodation.
