Easter Seals Colorado

Employment Services provides job placement and training for persons with disabilities. Through contracts with local companies, employees receive job training, on-site supervision and support from Easter Seals job coaches.

SLS - Supported Living Services

Easter Seals Employment Services offers:

  • Employment Services - Job Readiness assessments, community placement and job training for people with disabilities. Employees receive job training, supervision and support from Easter Seals job coaches, on an enclave or independently.Picture of Sol completing bus training on public transportation
  • Travel Training Program - Through a grant from Project ACTION, a collaboration between the U.S. Department of Transportation and Easter Seals National Office, travel training candidates who have passed a functional assessment, developed by Easter Seals, can receive training on the RTD bus system to enhance their mobility and independence.
  • Community Accessibility - Adults who prefer a day program to a structured work environment can join the "Explorers" and enjoy volunteer work, educational experiences and recreation as they "explore" opportunities in the community.

Need Curb Cuts / Sidewalks in your neighborhood_

Easter Seals is working with RTD and the Department of Public Works offices throughout metro Denver to improve transit accessibility. This includes the removal of barriers that prevent individuals with disabilities from using public transportation.
